KIDS ARE AVAILABLE AT 12 WEEKS OLD

All babies are registered, up to date on shots and vaccinations, disease free at time of purchase, hooves trimmed, microchipped, disbudded (unless you specify horned), and dewormed. ALL KIDS WILL BE HEALTHY AT THE TIME THEY LEAVE OUR FARM.

NOTE: TRAVEL CAN CAUSE STRESS OR SOME HEALTH ISSUES. INQUIRE WITH A VET IF YOU FEEL TRAVEL OR ADJUSTING TO A NEW HOME HAS ADVERSELY IMPACTED YOUR NEW PYGMY KID.

Waiting List Policy:

We do not have a waiting list. All kids available will be posted on the website or on our Facebook page Cajun Pygmy Goats.

Deposits:

We do not require a deposit. If you want to put a deposit down on a goat that is physically available on the farm, we will accept it. No deposits will be accepted for kids that are not born yet.

* Note: Doelings are in high demand. Consider a wether. They make wonderful companions.

* The kids that leave the farm are healthy. If there is concern about their condition other than a typical stress response after leaving the farm, a vet check and a official report from them within two days of receiving the goat will be required for a full refund.

Wethering Policy:

We personally do not wether our Bucklings till 3/4 months to allow their Uretha to fully develop.

* If you castrate early it increases the chance of urinary calculi in the future.

*The new Owner takes full responsibility if they castrate earlier than 3/4 months.

Pygmy Kid Prices

We believe in a mom/bottle supplement system. We believe that mother's milk is best so we do not intentionally pull a kid from it's mom. We do supplement with bottles for two reasons. It does make the kid more socialized and two, if in the future the kid needed to take a bottle, they are comfortable with it from birth.

We allow the mom to raise the kid(s), supplement in their area, play with them in their area, and do not pull a kid from mom unless absolutely necessary.

Goats are pick up only.

We do not ship any animal.

If you want a goat shipped, we will provide the goat and the necessary paperwork for the goat to travel. The cost of Veterinary paperwork will be added to the price of the goat. It will be up to you to organize transport, provide a kennel or shipping container or anything else needed for the goat to travel.

Companion Animals

If you are purchasing a Pygmy Goat from us and do not have another Pygmy/goat to be a companion to the one you are purchasing, you will be required to buy 2 Pgymy kids before we will agree to a purchase. Pygmy Goats are herd animals and their health and wellbeing are important to us. If you are not interested in breeding a wether is an excellent option for a doe or a buck as a companion.
